               Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing received two newly- appointed ambassadors, U Min Thein to Austria and U Hauk Khant Som to Canada at Office No.27 today afternoon.

               At the meeting, the Union Minister said it was glad to be appointed as the new ambassadors to Austria and Canada and these countries are currently cooperating in the electricity and energy sectors’ projects in Myanmar.

               The Union Minister also asked to provide the necessary assistances for future cooperation, to get the short-term and long-term capacity building programs and technical assistances from these countries and wished them to carry out the duties successfully.

          The ambassadors said that they would do their utmost efforts to improve the bilateral cooperation between these two countries and Myanmar including the electricity and energy sectors.
