         Deputy Minister for Electricity and Energy U Khin Maung Win had a virtual meeting with Region and State Ministers of Electricity Sector and the member of Nay Pyi Taw Council from his office today afternoon.

         During the meeting, the overall situations of providing electricity to the whole country by 2030, to electrify 5,080 villages with Phase I of National Electrification Project (NEP-1) and 4,700 villages with Phase II of NEP-1 by the loan of the World Bank and to supply electricity directly to the rural households through (400) Volt transmission lines with surplus funds of NEP-1 were  discussed in detail.

          Region and State Ministers of Electricity Sector, the member of Nay Pyi Taw Council also discussed regarding the efforts to provide electricity the villages under the NEP project.
