Project Location                 -    Magwe Region, In the compound of the Kyaun Chaung Power Plant

Contractor                         -    Mitsubishi Corporation

Project Type                       -    State Owned

                                              This project is implemented by JICA Grant.

Contracted Capacity           -    23 MW

Installed Capacity               -    24 MW (6MW x 4Nos)

Current Status                    -    The Contract has been signed between Japan International Cooperation                                                             System and Mitsubishi Corporation dated on 7^th May 2019. All the Equipment                                                     that needs to import in accordance with the Contract were arrived at site.                                                             Currently contractor is executing the power plant installation work.
