  The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar (hereinafter referred to as “the Recipient”) has received a grant of Two billion five hundred billion Japanese Yen (JPY 2,500,000,000) from the Government of Japan according to the Exchange of Notes between the Governments (hereinafter referred to as the “E/N”) on February 6, 2018, concerning Japan’s Grant Aid, aiming at contributing to the implementation of the Project for Urgent Upgrading of Electric Power Supply by the Recipient.
