THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF SECOND TIME ISSUING THE LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE (LOA) UPON EPGE SOLAR TENDER PV-01 INVITED FOR GROUND-MOUNTED SOLAR POWER PLANT PROJECTS ON IPP/BOO BASIS

          The Electric Power Generation Enterprise (EPGE) under the Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE) invited tenders dated on 18^th May 2020 to develop Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant Projects at the Designated Connection Points based on the Independent Power Producer (IPP)/ Build, Own and Operate (BOO) in order to fulfill the electricity demand for the country’s need ahead of summer. The Tender Supervision Committee made official announcements to the tenderers as the Responsive Bidders who have passed the Technical Proposal (Envelope I) on 4^th September 2020. The Price Proposal (Envelope II) of the Responsive Bidders was opened and recorded the proposed price dated on 9^th September 2020. So, EPGE negotiated the Power Purchase Agreement with the first ranked bidders who have submitted the lowest price. In addition, EPGE has issued the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on (5-10-2020) for the first time to the relevant first ranked bidders who have agreed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that was checked and approved by Tender Supervision Committee for (16) Projects. Presently, the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) has issued to the respective bidders for (7) projects from the remaining (13) projects on (16-10-2020) as the second time. The issuing of LOA list is stated for the respective (7) projects as per attachment.
