             Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing received the Ambassador of Britain to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Dun Chugg at Office No.27 today afternoon via Virtual Meeting.

             At the meeting, the role of renewable energy in Myanmar, the status of Myanmar’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Myanmar Economic Recovery and Reform Plan (MERRP) to be discussed at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) which will be held in Glasgow, Britain in November, 2021 were discussed.

          Deputy Minister U Khin Maung Win, Permanent Secretary U Than Zaw and heads of concerned departments from the Ministry and the officials of the British Embassy also joined the meeting.
