Opening ceremony of 230 kV Hlinethaya-Kyaiklat power line 52.26 miles long and 230/66/11 kV 100 MVA Kyaiklat substation was held Kyaiklat sub-station in Ayeyawady Region on 17-11-2018 at 09:00 am.            In this ceremony, Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Regional Chief Minister U Hla Moe Aung, Yangon Region Hluttaw Speaker U Tin Maung Tun, Deputy Minister H.E. Dr. Tun Naing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw representatives, Local people and Guest were attended.

Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Ayeyawady Region Minister U Win Htay for Electricity, Industry and Transport and responsible persons inspected 230 kV Main Substation in Kangyidauk Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region under DPTSC on 17th Nov, 2018 in the afternoon.

Accompanied by Social Welfare Minister from Mon State Government Dr. Htein Lin, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo and departmental officials, Union Minister U Win Khaing visited to the Gas Fired Power Plant (Thaton) project near Kyarpan Village, Thaton Township, Mon State on November 16 in the morning.
