Opening ceremony of 230 kV Hlinethaya-Kyaiklat power line 52.26 miles long and 230/66/11 kV 100 MVA Kyaiklat substation was held Kyaiklat sub-station in Ayeyawady Region on 17-11-2018 at 09:00 am.            In this ceremony, Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Regional Chief Minister U Hla Moe Aung, Yangon Region Hluttaw Speaker U Tin Maung Tun, Deputy Minister H.E. Dr. Tun Naing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw representatives, Local people and Guest were attended.

Construction of 66 kV Yathedaung- Buthedaung transmission line (33) miles, 66/11 kV 5MVA Buthedaung Substation Project
The people of Yathedaung, Buthedaung and Maungdaw in Rakhine State use electricity from national grid for development of their socio-economic life. As MOEE is constructing 66 kV Ponnakyun- Yathedaung- Buthedaung- Maungdaw transmission line (64.31) miles and 66 kV substation projects, 66 kV Ponnakyun- Yathedaung substation extension and 66/11kV 5MVA Yathedaung substation were completed in first phase 1530 households in Yathedaung
