The meeting regarding to the projects implementing by Electricity Supply Enterprise, Ministry of Electricity and Energy was held on 9:00 AM of September 5, 2018 at the meeting room, Office (27).

Ministry of Electricity and Energy held the signing ceremony of giving a Notice to Proceed to implement Shwe Li (3) Hydropower Project which is located on the Shwe Li River about (12) miles from Momeik Town in the northern Shan State at Horizontal Lake View Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw in the evening of 5th September 2018.

H.E. Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Electricity and Energy inspected arrival of Gas Engines, installed capacity 18 MW, (8) Nos which were built at Wartsila Company, Italy, for Gas Engine Power Plant, installed capacity 145 MW, that will be implemented by Powergen Kyaukse Company Limited at 230 kV Belin Substation, Kyaukse, Mandalay Region from Trieste Port, Italy, to Alone International Port, Yangon, on September (1), 2018.

- The coordination meeting on the plans about electricity substations and transmission lines for stability of electricity system and distribution in Yangon Region was held at YESC (Head Office) meeting hall on 1-9-2018 in the morning 09:00 hrs.

Delegation led by H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy attended the Co-ordination meetings on future plan for China- Myanmar development of Electricity and Energy sector and departed from Kunming International Airport of the P.R.C on 26th August, 2018 in the morning . They arrived back Myanmar at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Hope Shan , China Ambassador to Myanmar and responsible persons have welcomed at Yangon International Airport.
